V, V & GM has being called the leading law firm in the Panamanian electric market, where it has being a leading player since 1996.

Highlights in this field include advising PAN-AM GENERATING LIMITED in the development, building and operation of a 96 MW power plant located in La Chorrera, Panama. This advise has included an original long term financing in the mid-eight figures arranged and spearheaded by the private sector department of the Interamerican Development Bank in 2000-2001 and a subsequent re-finance with a local bank syndicate (with Citibank, N.A. Panama Branch as arranger) in 2006.

V, V & GM has also provided advise in regards the development of hydro projects, industrial customers who have acted as market agents in the Panama electrical wholesale market and, more indirectly, in the building of a 200 kilometer 230 kV transmission line from central Panama to Panama City.
