Arbitration

Solving disputes via arbitration is an efficient and fast option, as recognized by the Republic of Panama, which allows arbitration as an alternate dispute resolution mechanism, by accepting as final the rulings of arbitrators or arbitration panels (except in case of specific circumstances which are duly regulated). Furthermore, Panama allows arbitration both in equity and law, as well as ad-hoc and institutional arbitration (ad-hoc arbitration being that which is governed and administered as per the rules agreed to by the parties, while institutional arbitration is that which is governed and administered as per the rules of a pre-determined, duly registered arbitration center in the Republic of Panama).
